Dave & Jennifer Hoare’s beautiful Leonberger, Shedor, has a flair for the dramatic. Prior to the commission, Shedor performed the canine role of ‘Nana’, on stage in Christchurch Repertory Theatre’s production of Peter Pan. The commission request from the Hoare’s was that the composition illustrated an interplay between Shedor, in her ‘Nana’ costume bonnet, and an element from the Peter Pan story to commemorate the event.
