I was recently commissioned to created the album cover artwork and packaging design for the three delightful darlings of New Zealand music, Anika Moa, Boh Runga and Hollie Smith, known together as AnikaBoh&Hollie.

Triple Trouble (Commission)

These three lovely lads (Tom, George, and Brian the English Springer Spaniel) made their debut on canvas in May 2012 at the request of their Mum Jenny. They were a delight to paint, their individual characters shining through as soon as oil hit cotton. Measuring 920x460mm ‘The Boys’ will call Jenny’s private collection in Christchurch, New Zealand, home.

Stray Dog Survivors!

The ‘Lincoln‘ portrait was one of the very few things restauranteur James Jameson was permitted to recover from the crumbling remains of Le Cafe after the devastating Christchurch Earthquakes of February 22nd 2011, and after. ‘Lincoln’ now hangs in James’ wonderful new cafe, the St Asaph St Kitchen and Stray Dog Bar.

If you’re in Christchurch please drop by 236 St Asaph St, give Lincoln a wave up on the wall, show James and the Stray Dog team your support, sample the amazing fare and perfect coffee, and soak up your fill of that wonderful vibe that comes with any establishment James has had a hand in creating.

Even if you’re not in Christchurch, wherever you are in the world you can show your support for those doing their bit to rebuild the city and keep its famous vibe alive and evolving – please ‘Like’ the St Asaph St Kitchen and Stray Dog Bar on Facebook.
